How to add a listing

Article content

A current step-by-step walkthrough of the FlyHigh listing flow, covering setup, pricing, description, contact details, and media before payment.

Adding a complete listing gives buyers enough detail to understand the aircraft, compare it confidently, and contact the right person without extra back-and-forth. Work through each page in order and save accurate information as you go.

1) Start a new listing

Begin from the clean add-listing screen. This confirms you are starting the correct listing flow before entering aircraft details.

2) Choose the core aircraft details

Select the condition, category, manufacturer, and model first. These fields control how buyers find the aircraft in search, filters, and category pages.

3) Add an aircraft tag when it helps discovery

Use a tag only when it adds useful context, such as Amphibious, Trainer, Utility, or Cargo. Tags help buyers identify specialist aircraft without changing the main category.

4) Enter registration and serial details

Registration and serial details make the listing easier to verify. Buyers often use these fields to cross-check aircraft history before making contact.

5) Set pricing and sale terms

Add the sale type, asking price, currency, and tax status. Clear pricing reduces low-quality enquiries and helps serious buyers understand the deal structure quickly.

6) Confirm the location and map marker

Set the aircraft location so it appears correctly in location-based searches and map views. If needed, place the marker to show the most accurate position.

7) Write the main description

Use the description to explain the aircraft clearly: condition, ownership context, upgrades, avionics, interior, exterior, and any standout selling points. A strong description builds buyer confidence before they enquire.

8) Add technical notes

Add maintenance, airframe, engine, and propeller notes in the technical section. These details help buyers understand the aircraft condition without needing to request basic records immediately.

9) Add operating statistics

Enter hours, cycles, and related figures where available. Accurate operating statistics help buyers compare aircraft and decide whether the listing matches their requirements.

10) Add buyer contact details

Add the contact name, email, phone number, and preferred contact method. This makes it clear who buyers should reach and reduces missed enquiries.

11) Use dealership contact details when listing for a dealership

If you are connected to a dealership, you can register the listing under that dealership and use the dealership contact flow. This keeps enquiries, plan usage, and buyer-facing details aligned with the business profile.

12) Upload aircraft photos

Add clear exterior, interior, cockpit, panel, and detail photos. Good photos improve trust and help buyers judge condition before requesting more information.

13) Attach supporting documents

Upload documents that help buyers review the aircraft, such as specifications, brochures, logbook extracts, or maintenance summaries. Keep sensitive information removed where appropriate.

14) Add video or Matterport links

Video and virtual-tour links give buyers a better sense of the aircraft before arranging a viewing. Use them when they add useful context beyond the photos.

15) Submit the listing

After the final step, the success page confirms that the listing has been saved and submitted for the next stage. From there you can add another listing or return to your listings.
